Giving Birth to Creativity . . .

Sue Kinross, an independent midwife, and I held our first Birth Art pilot on Tuesday, which was a huge success. The original concept was developed by Tamara Donn, whom runs the Birth Art Cafe in Hertfordshire. Our training is being supported by Changing Minds as part of the Trailblazer's Arts & Health programme in Northamptonshire and we are looking forward to our next session on Monday. Birth Art explores parents' hopes, expectations and fears surrounding pregnancy, impending birth and parenthood, through creative processes.
